Driverless vehicles covered five times more test miles in California in 2023
<p>General Motors' Cruise unit and Google affiliate Waymo accounted for the bulk of the miles — 63 percent and 36 percent respectively — recorded without a safety driver, according to the state's department of motor vehicles.</p>
